DANCES
The
dances are predominantly line and circle dances with an Eastern European flavor,
typically Greek, Albanian, Serbian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Armenian,
Romanian, Israeli, Turkish, and Croatian. Although some of the
dances we do may have origins in England, Spain, France, Scandinavia, the U. S. A.,
and Asia. Line and circle dances do not require partners. Occasionally
couple dances will be offered.
On occasion there will be scheduled teaching of new dances which will be indicated in our monthly bulletin. | Calendar |
Recorded
music is used. We have about 2000 titles in our computer
library. Occasionally for special occasions we hire an
ethnic folk dance band for our dancing enjoyment.
